Left tackle Walter Jones had decided to call it quits, according to a Tweet from one of the greatest Seahawks in franchise history.
I have came to the concussion it is time for me to retire from football [sic].His retirement comes as no surprise considering he has undergone season ending knee surgery the past two years.

The 36-year-old had previously stated this season that he would work to get back into playing shape for 2010.
I'm trying everthing I can to get back on the field, I still love the game andvi know that I can still play this game.
