SOUNDERS FC: SFI TV: Part II of conversation with Pete Fewing

Current Sounders FC pregame and half time analyst, Peter Fewing, is a local soccer icon with an impressive pedigree. He was head coach of Seattle University men's soccer from 1988 to 2006 and won two national championships. His teams have been regional champions - 2004, 2001, 1998, 1997 - And they have twice made it to the NAIA Final Eight and Final Four.

In addition to coaching the sport Fewing was a player as well. He played midfield for the Seattle Storm from 1985 to 1990 in the defunct American Professional Soccer League. He was the team’s all-time assists leader, was top ten in total points and was no. 2 in total team appearances with 78.

Fewing is one of the most positive and friendly individuals that I have had the pleasure to meet. He is the kind of person and coach that you would want to play for or have your kids play for. He loves the game and he loves the Sounders. My conversation was not as much as an interview as it was about two guys who love the game talking about he game and team we love and support

Peter has another outlet for his passion for the beautiful game and that is his soccer camps. To find out more about the camps go HERE.
