The "runaway beer truck," nickname was coined during the Fiesta Bowl when Schmitt busted a 57-yard touchdown run down the sidelines against Oklahoma University.
Fox Sports commentator Matt Vasgersion spouted the phrase, "Like a runaway beer truck," as Schmitt sprinted past OU defenders to the end zone.
Hmmm, did Vasgersian know that Schmitt eats beer coasters too?
