SEAHAWKS: Reading the field - Knapp ranked no. 14 among offensive coordinators


Where do you rank a casualty of a dreadfully inconsistent Raiders offense? About the middle of the pack.

The Sporting News ranked the top 20 offensive coordinators in the NFL and Greg Knapp, formerly of Oakland, comes in at no. 14.
He will implement a one-cut, zone-running scheme in Seattle, setting up a conservative passing attack. Knapp has a proven system. He just has to overcome a lack of elite weapons in Seattle.

History shows Knapp will likely lead Seattle to have one of the better rushing teams in the league. He's never had a team rank worse than 10 while he's been coordinator with the 49ers, Falcons and Raiders.

However, Knapp should have ample receiving weapons, along with QB Matt Hasselbeck, to create an equally potent passing attack that'll hopefully be better than his bottom ranked Falcons and Raiders.
