A major league-leading 15 wins in one-run games Seattle has found a way to finish games in the win column.
With Carlos Gomez on second after pinch-running for Redmond and the passed ball, Gomez moved to third on an infield single by pinch-hitter Brian Buscher. Aardsma didn't let runners on the corners phase him as he got Denard Span to ground out to second for the win.
Mariners starter Jarrod Washburn displayed another great outing pitching six innings of one-run ball. Wasburn struck out six, walked one and scattered seven hits. Seattle's bullpen took over and pitched three scoreless innings allowing just two hits and one walk between Brandon Morrow, Garrett Olson and Chris Jakubauskas.
After his 27-game hit streak came to an end last night Ichiro went back at it going 3-for-4 with a double, an RBI and scored the game-winning run.
