L.A.'s Home Depot Center will host a battle of the MLS's top two teams when the Sounders FC take on Chivas USA at 7:30 p.m. this Saturday.
The Sounders FC (3-1-0) suffered their first loss of the season against the Kansas City Wizards in Seattle, relinquishing their grasp on the Western conference to Chivas USA (3-0-1).
"So we gave away three points at home," Sounders head coach Sigi Schmid said. "Now we need to go on the road and get three back."

Chivas (10) leads the Sounders (9) by one point in the Western conference. The two teams have the highest point totals in the MLS.
Chivas USA have scored two goals in each of their victories, including a shutout of the winless Dallas FC.
They are coming off a 0-0 tie against the L.A. Galaxy in front of 23,317 fans rooting for both teams. The Sounders should expect a hostile environment when they fly down to California later this week.

The Sounders FC will be without team captain goalkeeper Kasey Keller after he was red carded in the 29th minute of play for handballing on a scoring opportunity outside the box.
Washington native Ben Dragavon stood in goal for Keller while the Sounders took on the Wizards one man down for the remainder of the game.
Dragavon played because backup goalkeeper Chris Eylander sprained his knee. Schmid said Eylander is nearly healthy enough to return.
"Chris Eylander is getting close," Schmid said. "He wasn't active this week, but he did train all this week and he will go out and train all next week. I'm not sure who'll start, but he and Ben Dragavon are our two keepers."
