SEAHAWKS: Reading the field - Report: Weaver's statements about locker room division inaccurate


After Leonard Weaver signed with the Eagles, he told reporters that the locker room was split during Mike Holmgren's lame duck season.

But according to Pro Football Weekly's "The Way We Hear it", an article using unnamed sources to gather inside information, Weaver's words may have been misconstrued.
But the way we hear it, it was not a locker room-wide division that Weaver was referring to but rather a difference of opinion specifically among the team’s running backs, as the departed fullback’s locker was sandwiched between players with contrasting feelings about their situations.

Marshall and the Raiders
The Press Democrat's article aptly titled "Before You Get Too Excited about Marshall" lists off some of the ex-Seahawks defensive coordinator's under-achievements.
But looking at the numbers over his 11 years as a coordinator, Marshall doesn't have a particularly impressive record.
The writer goes on to list Marshall's stats as defensive coordinator throughout his career.
