Danny O'Neil of the Seattle Times had a chance to talk with GM Tim Ruskell regarding LB Leroy Hill.
Ruskell said the franchise tag was withdrawn because it had become an impediment to reaching a long-term deal. He was asked if Hill was upset at the team's decision to withdraw the franchise tag. Ruskell referred the question to coach Jim Mora, who said he spoke with Hill on Sunday morning. He said that Hill might have been a little shaken up, but still expressed a desire to get a deal done with Seattle.To Continue...
The Seahawks removed Hill's franchise tag Sunday. The move is thought to be in connection with drafting LB Aaron Curry.
