Free agent long snapper Mike Leach, touted as one of the best in the league, signed with division rival Arizona Cardinals today.
The Seahawks have shown interest in long snappers, bringing in Leach and Bryan Pittman last week. 2008's LS Jeff Robinson is a free agent and will probably retire at 39-years-old.

But, the Seahawks may not need to pick up another long snapper, with 2008 draft pick Tyler Schmitt recovering from having surgery on his back.
He's apparently ready to go for team workouts beginning this Monday. However, GM Tim Ruskell is probably going to shop for a cheap long snapper as a security blanket in case Schmitt's back falters again.
