Earlier reports from an often erroneous source didn't help their credibility after another was proven wrong.It was reported that Saints RT Jon Stinchcomb was going to be signed with the Seahawks, but the intrepid reporting of the P-I's Clare Farnsworth proved the rumor false.
The report didn't make much sense because the Seahawks currently have Sean Locklear signed to decent deal at RT. Stinchcomb has started three years straight with the Saints.

Another bit of news NSS stumbled across was that Lawrence Jackson blamed his poor play on a foot injury he sustained during the first game of the season. He said he didn't feel comfortable on the foot until the last four games of the season, which is when he coincidentally turned up his play a few notches.
