Another Case of the Mondays

Since the status of Ken Griffey Jr. is the big news this week, I decided to devote this week’s Case of the Mondays toward “The Kid.” In this first clip, I take you to a time when Griffey was perhaps the biggest name in sports and certainly one of the biggest names in baseball.

Ken Griffey Jr.’s Winning Run came on the heals of Seattle’s improbable late-season run to the playoffs and is named after Griffey’s scoring run from first base to home in the AL Division Series against the New York Yankees.

What we have here is one of the greatest intros in video game history for one of the best baseball games of all time.
