Here are the Seahawks 2009 home and away opponents:
HOME: Chicago, Detroit, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Tampa Bay, Arizona, St. Louis, San Francisco
AWAY: Green bay, Minnesota, Houston, Indianapolis, Dallas, Arizona, St. Louis, San Francisco.
These teams offer a 99-109 combined regular season record.
The teams we play at home offer a 54-74 record. The teams we play away offer a 63-65 record. The results are somewhat skewed by two of the worst team in the league. We play the Rams twice, who had 14 losses and the Lions who lost all their games. We do play a very good AFC South division next year, with the Titans and Colts. But, things change so drastically from year to year there is no way to predict what teams will play well and what teams will suffer.
FREE AGENTS. The Seahawks have 14 unrestricted free agents entering the market including five starers.

The player that would be hardest to replace would probably be Leonard Weaver. He had a good season, improving in blocking and proving to be a threat running and catching the ball. He was also named as an alternate to the pro bowl. Behind him is a tough SOB in Owen Schmitt, but he didn't have a lot of play time in 2008.
Leroy Hill's missed play time could benefit us in the free agent market. He has said he is looking to test out the market but also wants to stay in Seattle (how many times have we heard that). If Hill pulls the kind of demand he deserves it will be difficult for the Seahawks to match other teams' offers and we can ill-afford to give another massive contract to another linebacker.
MoMo has a good chance of leaving with Julius Jones and T.J. Duckett in place, despite Julius Jones having a terrible year. The two medium sized backs have identical running styles, but JJ(27) is two years younger than MoMo (29). JJ's biggest problem was fumbling, which can always be corrected. The fact is, MoMo was Holmgren's guy, and will probably not be with the Seahawks in the Mora Era.
Engram and Robinson both have a chance of leaving next year, Robinson moreso than Engram. Robinson proved once again that he can make a big play, but he can also drop a potential game winning touchdown (see Dolphins game). There are better WRs in the free agent market than K-Rob. Engram didn't do a helleva lot this season, and at 35 doesn't hold a high value for teams. He probably wouldn't be a starter on a lot of teams due to his age and the fact he has to learn a new system. He knows ours inside and out and assuming Mora doesn't change our West Coast O drastically, Engram could be a Seahawk next year with a good value.
