SEAHAWKS: Inactives

Not many surprises here: quarterback Matt Hasselbeck, left tackle Walter Jones, kicker Brandon Coutu, outside linebacker Leroy Hill, offensive tackle Na' Shan Godard, defensive tackle Red Bryant, defensive end Brandon Miller and safety CJ Wallace.

At this point in the season, having young starters isn't a bad thing. Their added experience in the coming games will benefit the team going into camp this offseason.

Seneca Wallace will get the start at quarterback, and DD Lewis will be taking over at outside linebacker for Hill. Lewis will do more than an adequate job replacing Hill. Seneca Wallace? He's had his moments but has largely been ineffective this year. He's going to have a tough time against the Patriots with so many backup offensive linemen.
